The children from the “Neagoe Basarab” National College, from Oltenița, invite you in a better world, with #plasticzero, to the comic book exhibition, made within the project “Endless Present | Limited Future”

Between April 12 and May 2, 2022, on the esplanade of the House of Culture in Oltenița, took place the exhibition of comics realized by 18 students of the National College “Neagoe Basarab” in the city, within the project “Endless Present | Limited Future”, carried out by the Volum Art Association. The illustrated stories created by the high school students from Oltenița imagine the perspective of a better world, developed sustainably, without plastic, as a solution to the current ecological crisis.

Under the guidance of the trainers, the teenagers from the “Neagoe Basarab” National College trained in the secrets of the development of comics (trainer Alin Ivan), illustration (trainer Aneli Munteanu) and creative writing (trainer Iulia Rugină) during six workshops held in within the project, for three weeks, between November 27 and December 12, 2021.

The opening was attended by parents, children, as well as representatives of local authorities and the media, and the exhibition was visited by an impressive number of residents of Oltenita who appreciated the works and hopefully got inspired by their creative solutions to combat pollution.
