Iulia graduated Film and TV Directing at the National University of Theater and Film in Bucharest. She liked it so much that she also got a master’s degree and a PhD on cinema. Along the way, her professional path blended film making (writing and directing 12 shorts, 3 feature films, a theater play and a HBO series) with teaching film studies. In the past 14 years she has been a trainer in many film courses and workshops, working with children, teenagers, convicts, drug addicts, expats and corporate employees. She holds a psychopedagogy certificate and a lot of passion for people and their stories. She is currently teaching script writing within the Script Writing and Film Studies Department of the National University of Theater and Film in Bucharest.
